WHO WE ARE?
Uz-Anar is a community of women
devoted to craftsmanship and tourism
in the remote northern region of Kyrgyzstan.
We have been manufacturing and exporting handicrafts for over 15 years.
The Uz-Anar's primary products are felt interior decorations, such as shyrdak, ottomans, poufs, cushions, and seat pads made under the indigenous and traditional craftmanship technology. We also make wall pictures using the wet and needle felting techniques.
For 15 years, we have gained considerable experience in manufacturing systematization, improved the product quality, taught women craft techniques thereby opened new jobs and promoted opportunities in the domestic and foreign markets. We have been working with B2B customers since the first years.

Our employees deserve special attention. For some of them it is a source of moonlighting income, but for others it is a primary source of income. New moms and retired work for us. Our head
Burul Ablesovna is an Uz-Anar head with 20 years of experience in craftsmanship.
She made her first steps in practicing craftsmanship when she was a schoolgirl. Burul Ablesovna mastered knitting thanks to her aunt. That had been the beginning for her. Burul did not plan to become a craftswoman in the future, but the hobby turned into her main job. After working in “Altyn Kol” LLC for 15 years, she finally launched her own business and founded Uz-Anar. Her wide experience gained in Altyn Kol was very helpful in the early days of Uz-Anar.
